Green Tomorrows
Earn our Green Tomorrows certificate of achievement and gain lifetime experience!
Participants have two options to complete the program and receive the certificate:
Option 1, Hands-on learning: Over the course of the six week period, participants will receive twelve hours of on-the-farm lessons, and are encouraged to do so by doing two hours every week. Hands-on lessons include growing plants, harvesting, and sustainability.
Option 2, Workshops: Participants can also opt to take a series of six workshops, particularly if they are senior citizens or physically challenged. Topics include horticulture, nutrition, food preparation, and food budgeting.
Participants who take the first option are encouraged to attend the workshops as well, as these are added onto the certificate of achievement they will receive.
It's all about developing important skills for a productive and healthy future! As an added benefit, participants will also receive fresh produce from the farm every week.
