Fall is upon us and all the great seasonal foods that go with it. But did you know foods like apples, pumpkins, and cranberries all can be enjoyed at peak flavor long after their season is over? You’ll learn not only the art of preservation but also leave with some great gifting ideas for the holidays and delicious apple butter.

This workshop will meet in the basement of St. George's Church, 160 U St NW.


About the Instructor

Christin Riddick is the founder of AfroBeets. Chrisitin was the born and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland. Christin got involved with the urban garden community through the influence of an entrepreneur named Josh who ran a business called Fresh Truck in Boston, which went to food deserts in the greater Boston area to provide produce to those who deserve more.
