"Easy Does It" Cooking Workshop

Chef Kat’s second workshop will focus on low-effort dishes that look high-end. Using Common Good’s offerings from late summer and early fall, attendees will learn cooking basics for recipes that are anything but. Participants will leave the workshop with tips on how to cook seasonal foods, tips and techniques applicable to cooks at all levels, ideas and inspiration for cooking and entertaining, especially during the upcoming holidaysl 



Dishes will feature seasonal foods such as sweet potato, butternut squash, apples, and root vegetables.

This cooking workshop will be taught by Kat Campbell-Houston. 

Kat Campbell-Houston created Kutlery as an outlet to document her journey with cooking. Over the years, the blog, and its corresponding Instagram account, have come to include travel and design. Kutlery provides video cooking tutorials, recipes, and travel tips in an informal and conversational manner-while maintaining a tone of natural curiosity for the unexplored and unexpected. Kat believes we eat with our eyes, and has pushed herself to learn and master plating, food photography and culinary design.

Kat has been a farmer’s market regular since a child, often shopping with her parents at Millers Farm or LD Greens in Maryland. Additionally, she supports many local businesses and has featured several on her blog.
