Honey Harvest

  • St. George's Church 160 U St NW Washington, DC 20001 (map)

Have you seen the beehives tucked into the corner at Common Good City Farm? The bees have been very busy this Summer pollinating our crops and we invite you to come help us harvest the honey!  Space is limited to 12 helpers, so sign up quickly for your chance to learn the ins and outs of harvesting and bottling honey. Participation fee includes tutorial on the honey harvest and one bottle of honey (valued at $20) to take home with you that night. It's a chance to learn something new and bee a huge help to the farm! Meet us in the basement room of St. George's Church (160 U St NW, Washington, DC 20001) at 1:00 pm and dress in comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

This workshop will be taught by Jan Day, Allison Martin, and Jacob Steele.
