Support our Work

In our times of isolation over the last year, we have taken a lot of opportunities to explore our core principles as an organization and to deepen our understanding of our work and our impact. We keep coming back to the same thing: feeding people.

For 13 years Common Good has worked to grow food and cultivate community in LeDroit Park. This year we're focusing on deepening the connections that we've built in order to turn our organization into the anti-racist and transformational community-driven organization we know that it can be. We hope you'll be involved in whatever ways call to you.

Whether you support our pay-what-you-can market model, our out-of-school-time youth program, or want to learn about how to grow and preserve your own food, there is a place for you here. The reality of running an organization like ours means that not every donation goes toward buying shovels or crayons. Instead, we use your financial contributions to make amazing things happen through our programs, events, and vegetables. We do all of this while supporting our staff and volunteers in a way that is equitable, supportive, and recognizes all of our shared humanity.

We invite you to consider your resources and make a contribution that feels significant to you. Because no matter the amount, it is significant to us.
