LEAF Youth Program

The LEAF Program is our youth class on the farm! We have class from 4:30-6:00 on Thursdays and Sundays and Youth Garden Open Hours from 4:30-6:00 Tuesdays and 3:30-6:30 on Wednesdays.

For the 2026 season, the LEAF program will be broken up into a spring, summer and fall session. We are encouraging families to sign up and commit to one or more days for a session. Drop ins will still be welcome as capacity allows.

Register now for our Spring sessions from Sunday March 15- Thursday June 18

LEAF stand for Learning for the Environment, Agriculture and Food. Through LEAF, youth gain basic gardening skills, learn about healthful eating habits and get the opportunity to create healthy snacks and take home recipes!

LEAF is an excitement-filled class that includes hands-on farming, cooking, eating, and learning. Youth participate in the full farm-to-table cycle by caring for our Youth Garden, harvesting veggies, preparing a meal, and then sitting down to enjoy the fruits of their labor. Youth are encouraged to share what they learned on their farm with their families by taking home the recipe and some farm-fresh ingredients.

When:
Tuesdays, Thursdays, Sundays 4:30pm-6:00pm and Wednesdays 3:30pm-6:30pm

How to Participate:
LEAF is free and designed for elementary aged youth, but younger and older students are welcome! A registration form must be filled out by parents in advance or the first time their child attends.
