Certificate Program in Regenerative Agriculture
Common Good City Farm offers training and certification in Regenerative Urban Agriculture. In 2026, we are offering 2 cohorts, one on Sunday from 1 - 4 pm and one on Saturday 11am - 2 pm. Each cohort will have 20 - 22 students for 45 students total. This program is available at no cost to all students who are selected for this program.
The program will run once a week starting in March and running through October, with breaks for holidays noted on the schedule below. Participants will gain the awareness and skills needed to successfully manage land for small-scale crop production using organic, regenerative and climate responsive techniques. Topics covered will include how to plan crops and keep records, propagation and planting techniques, irrigation types and installation, how to manage pests in an integrated system, best harvest practices, composting and more. Participants will have the opportunity to complete two levels over the course of 7 months. Certificates are part of a series whereby successful completion of each level is required to move on to the following.
To learn more about students’ experience in the program, read this blog post about some of the projects students worked on for the management specialization in 2022.
