Recipe of the Week: Radish Toast

Radishes come in lots of different varieties, but they are all delicious! They have an earthy, spicy taste, a crunchy texture, and are a high nutrient, low calorie food. Radishes also aid indigestion and sooth sore throats. Check out this easy recipe as a way to incorporate more of this beautiful vegetable into your diet! Recipe: Radish ToastAdapted from thekitchn.com Ingredients Baguette cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices Butter 6 radishes, finely sliced A few sprigs of flat-leaf parsley, roughly chopped Pinch of kosher salt and freshly-ground black pepper Directions 1. Toast your bread to desired doneness. 2. Spread butter on toast generously. 3. Place radish slices on top of bread, and sprinkle with parsley, salt and pepper.
