Our Summer Youth Program Is Here!

Our 2nd Summer Youth Program (SYP) has begun! SYP is a paid summer job that teaches practical farming skills while emphasizing teamwork, community service, and building life skills such as public speaking, financial management, and diversity awareness. This year in addition to working on the farm, our youth will be building raised beds at Union Kitchen, receiving cooking lessons from local nonprofit Brainfood, collecting the history of our farm with Smithsonian Gardens and much more. We are extremely excited to be joined by a diverse and talented group of youth and are looking forward to the next 6 weeks! Follow our activities online and meet the youth on the farm during our community lunches.
