Common Good City Farm Composts All Year Long!

While the farm is closed for the season, we are still busy throughout the winter! One component of the farm that we run year-round is our composting operation. We collect food scraps from the community and turn them into nutrient-rich compost to enhance our soil. You can contribute your own kitchen scraps to our composting program! Learn more about our composting and what food scraps we accept here. Common Good City Farm also processes compost from our friends at Union Kitchen. Each week we process about 500 pounds of compost in total, and about half of that comes from Union Kitchen!
