Day in the Park... End of Season Celebration!

We are wrapping up a fantastic season by teaming up with the LeDroit Park Civic Association, LeDroit Park Community Garden, and the Bloomingdale and LeDroit Park Dogpark to bring you a Day in the Park this Saturday, October 25th. This community event will have fun for all ages including tree planting, farm tours & volunteering, children's activities, and even a dog costume contest! On this great planting day, the Community Garden, Bloomingdale and LeDroit Park Dogpark, and Common Good City Farm will all be active in the park sprucing it up as well. So bring your kids, wear close toed shoes, and join us for the fun! On the farm... 9:30am-12:30pm: volunteer opportunities 10am, 11am, 12pm: Farm Tours 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm: Farm scavenger hunt for kids In the park... 8:30am: Tree planting registration & breakfast.
