Welcome to our new Farm Manager! Meet Brian...

Brian Massey is a farmer, writer, and educator. He was a classroom teacher and school garden educator for many years in Washington, DC, before leaving to spend a year working and learning at The Farm School in Orange, MA. At The Farm School, Brian helped grow vegetables on 11 acres for a 200-member CSA, while also building barns and caring for many different species of livestock. Brian and his partner, Ellie, recently welcomed their first child into the world, and they’ve rapidly created an urban homestead in Mount Rainier, MD. Brian is absolutely thrilled to be the Farm Manager of Common Good City Farm and we are so excited to welcome him to our team.
